Addicted Gamer | Just Nick Studio/Stuck?! Sketches Team Up

Hi everyone!
Today I am excited to be sharing my design team layout for the team up between Just Nick Studio and Stuck?! layout of course features Nicole's awesome cut files and you can see my interpretation of the fabulous sketch that Laura designed from Stuck?! Sketches!
Here are the awesome Just Nick cut files I used for my layout...the Gamer cut files...perfect for my son who LOVES to play his Playstation!
I used up some of my Simple Stories 'So Rad' collection from my goes perfectly with these cut files...I resized them a little bit to work with them into my layout....I made the headphones a bit bigger, the controller a bit smaller and the Gamer title slightly bigger too!
Here is Laura's awesome sketch she designed! Make sure you check out the Stuck Sketches?! blog for all the inspiration using this same sketch!
Some detail photos showing how the Just Nick cut files compliment the sketch and the So Rad collection....
Thank you so much for joining me on my blog today! I hope you were inspired to try out the sketch using some of the amazing Just Nick cut files in store now!

Happy Little Moments | Make A Wish | Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a new design team scrapbook layout for Cocoa Vanilla Studio using the beautiful new 'Make A Wish' collection!
I wanted to challenge myself to create a non party/birthday layout using this ended up being quite easy since there is quite a lot of pink included in this collection and I now have a pretty niece I can scrap, I just chose papers and embellishments that weren't theme specific!
This watercolour pink paper I have used for my background was a challenge for me at first, I don't often use pink for a background but I kept the pink embellishments to a minimum and I really like how it turned out!
I used bits from the vellum ephemera, the regular ephemera, sticker sheet, wood veneer, enamel dots, puffy stickers and the chipboard stickers too! I added a few splatters of white mist to finish my layout also...

Love This Crazy, Fun & Wild Bunch | August 2016 Main and Add-On Kits | Hip Kit Club

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing this week's design team layout for Hip Kit Club using the August 2016 Main and Add-On kits!
For my layout this week, I decided to punch some circles from a couple of the exclusive Project Life cards that matched well with the ephemera pieces from the Amy Tangerine Oh Happy Life
I machine stitched through the punched circles to add some texture. I knew that I really wanted to add that cute yellow giraffe to my layout this week so I guess he was my inspiration for my layout this week! love-this-crazy-fun-wild-bunch-detail-4
I also wanted to add different typography to my page so I used all the different alphabets included in this months kits to create my title and I LOVE how it turned out!love-this-crazy-fun-wild-bunch-detail-2
This photo of my brother and his family was the perfect photo to use for this nephew is being his crazy self poking his tongue out while on a family walk, hence my title, 'Love This Crazy, Fun & Wild Bunch'!love-this-crazy-fun-wild-bunch-detail
Even though its not the exact colour, I just had to add that super cute rubber shape camera piece! I think its adorable and it fits perfectly right there!love-this-crazy-fun-wild-bunch-detail-3
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today! I hope I have inspired you in some small way with this layout today!

Cute | August 2016 Main and Add-On Kits | Hip Kit Club

Hi there everyone!

Today I am back to share this week's design team layout for Hip Kit Club using the amazing August 2016 Main and Add-On kits!

I am so lucky to have a gorgeous niece who I can happily scrapbook now and just look how cute she is? She suits absolutely every layout I create!

I decided to include lots of paper layers under my photo this week! The paper from the Crate Paper Cute Girl collection was perfect for this as I could cut up all the little pieces of different sized and coloured papers!

I just had to add that wood veneer crown on top of her head and I also added a heart enamel dot for some extra bling!

I added a few of the Pink Paislee /Paige Evans Take Me Away wood pieces to this layout also....they fit perfectly with my theme!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

Yeah Yeah Yeah | August 2016 Main and Add-On Kits | Hip Kit Club

Hi everyone!
Today I have a new design team layout for Hip Kit Club featuring the AMAZING August Main Hip Kit and Add-On Kits
Yeah Yeah Yeah
This week my brief was Crazy About Text and so well I pretty much went crazy with text! I decided to whip out those yummy Prima Oil Pastels from the August 2016 Colour Add-On Kit! Firstly I used my Silhouette Cameo to sketch out the Yeah Yeah cut file created by Kim Watson. I then proceeded to color and blend in a ROYGBIV manner with the pastels but when it was finished, it looked a bit too messy for me and there was just SO much colour so I decided to use the very same cut file, this time cutting it out from white cardstock and layering it right over the top of the sketched one. This way there are just some hints of colour poking out from underneath!
Yeah Yeah Yeah Detail
I added lots of embellishments to this layout like the Amy Tangerine 'Oh Happy Life' stickers and ephemera, I absolutely love the giraffes and combie vans in this collection! I also really liked the look of the Pink Paislee 'Take Me Away' mirror pieces, so I added a few of those around too!
Yeah Yeah Yeah Detail 2
One of the exclusive Project Life cards fits nicely as a layering piece under my photo to bring some of the colours over to my black and white photo and I also used a few of the exclusive die-cuts from the August 2016 Hip Kit Club exclusive pack this month too!
Yeah Yeah Yeah Detail 3
Since I used a photo of my two sons on this layout I just had to add that 'Crazy' transparent title! They are crazy boys and boy do we have some awesome fun together at times! This is a photo of them up in their tree house practicing using a selfie stick!!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Hip Kit Club blog today! The September kits will be shipping really soon so stay tuned for when they will be coming!

XOXO | Just Nick Studio

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a new design team scrapbook layout for Just Nick Studio using one of my favourite cut files in the Just Nick store - the XOXO background cut file!
Here is the cut file I used.....the XOXO background..
I adapted this cut file a little in Silhouette Studio by taking out the 'O' inserts so that I wouldn't have to put all those pieces back in once it was cut out! I like the result without those pieces included!
I used the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Love Always' collection with this cut file....I knew the two together would look pretty.
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today!
Happy cutting and creating!

Celebrate You | Make a Wish | Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a second layout for Cocoa Vanilla Studio using the amazing Make a Wish collection!
I took my inspiration from one of the wood veneer party hats and decided to cut some triangles on my Cameo to replicate the look of party hats!
Celebrate You
If you want to replicate the triangles, try drawing some with the Polygon tool on Silhouette Studio! Its so much fun to see something you have created turned into a cutting file! Once the hats were cut, I machine stitched around them for added texture!
Celebrate You Detail
The Make a Wish collection is not only for birthdays but any sort of celebration you might want to document! I even like the touches of pink I have added to this layout of my son's 4th birthday!
Celebrate You Detail 2
I added at least one of everything in this collection except for the vellum shapes...I just couldn't get them to go this time! I added some foam adhesive to the underside of the triangle/hats so that embellishments could be added.

Love You Sister | August 2016 Main and Add-On Kits | Hip Kit Club

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing my design team layout for Hip Kit Club and its my first layout using the August 2016 Main and Add-On Kits! Like lots of the other designers, I struggled to know where to start this month!
There is SOOOO much product in these kits so it can make it difficult to find a starting point but I absolutely LOVE that rainbow paper from the Cute Girl collection by Crate Paper, Inc. so I decided to cut a few of the awesome cut files using that paper...I love how the colours look across the title and around my page.
I arranged everything how I liked them and then added lots of the embellishments in between.
I used the fabulous Pink Paislee Take Me Away wood pieces, the rubber shapes, some of the Hip Kit Club Exclusives, My Mind's Eye enamel dots and loads more!
Some more detail shots...

I love how this layout turned out!
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today!
