A Perfect Day......

Back again today to share a layout that I have created for the 2nd challenge of the month over on the My Minds Eye blog.
This time the challenge was to use feminine papers and/or embellishments for a boy project or the other way around, use boyish papers and/or embellishments for a girl project all while of course using mainly My Minds Eye products.
So I decided I would use a photo from my wedding day almost 8 years ago!!!!

A touch of detail....
Thanks again for stopping by today, hope you all have a lovely Sunday xx

Sisters Forever....

Hello again all, I am back again today to share a layout I created for this months Scrap The Girls challenge, I don't often join in the challenge over there as I don't have daughters but I really liked this sisters quote for this months challenge:
"A sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of,
You know whatever you do they'll still be there." Amy Li

Here is what I created.....I chose to hand write the quote around the elements on the page....

Bit of detail......
Well another short and sweet one today, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving some love, I love to read each and every comment you leave so thank you :)

Scrapping with Lisa....

Hi everyone....hope everyone has been well. I have been great, I was lucky enough to have had a few days away this last week....I went up to the Sunshine Coast in QLD to visit gorgeous Lisa Webb and her lovely family for a few days. The weather was gorgeous and warm....we had loads of fun shopping, scrapping, coffeeing, lunching, you name it we did it!!!! We even managed a nanna nap in there too!!!
I did get 7 layouts done while I was away but I can only share 2 with you at the moment, the others are all secret squirrel stuff for a little while!!!!!!

Today I am just sharing one layout with you as the other one needs to be photographed so I think this is probably my favourite out of the 7 I did and I based it on the May sketch challenge over at the Hambly Screen Prints blog......

Here is the cool sketch....

How cute is that little envelope that is holding my journaling? I got it from my new fave shop....TYPO!!!!! I love it, I think it is so cute :)

Well just a short and sweet one today but I will be back again to share more in the next day or two....take care all and happy scrappin xx

123 Challenge

Hello again scrappers!!! Happy Mothers Day to all the beautiful Mum's out there.....hope you are all having a lovely day and getting really spoilt!!!!

Just thought I would pop on today to share a couple of layouts I have done recently...
First up is Charm's 123 challenge....this is my first ever time joining in over there and the criteria just spoke to me so I had a spare 5 minutes yesterday and whipped up this layout.....
123 challenge means there are 3 things to include on your layout usually being that 1 is a colour, 2 is a Word and 3 is a technique or certain product to be used......so this month's challenge is to use

the colour ORANGE
+
the word ENJOY
+
BAKERS TWINE

Not my usual style of layout but I am really happy with how this turned out....used some washi tape and a few bits and pieces....I just love the colour teal at the moment as well hehe

I of course just had to include a Charm's Heavenly Heart on my layout

Next up is the fabulous May sketch challenge over at Scrapbook Supplies Online the sketch is one from the super talented Becky Fleck of Page Maps......

Here is my take on the sketch.....I am so in love with Echo Park This and That 'Charming' at the moment so I use it whenever I can!!!! Love this photo of my youngest munchkin at 10 months old

This is such an easy collection to work with....I have created 4 layouts from it already with still plenty more to go......I just love it!!!
We would love for you to come on over and join in on the fabulous sketch challenge at Scrapbook Supplies Online...there is a chance to win a $25 voucher to spend in store with a random picked winner chosen at the end of the month....so what are you waiting for?

Lastly I have my entry for the 1st May challenge for My Minds Eye, they now run bi-weekly challenges which is awesome when I get the chance to join in hehe!!!
This time the challenge is to use the MME brads in a fun and unique way......I have so much MME stuff that I have got some extremely old items that were begging to be used so I dragged out an old transparency and used the bards as centres for the flowers and also added some more to the punched scallop circles too

This was a lovely family photo taken of us at a friends wedding just after Oliver was born...he was unfortunately being minded so he wasn't included in the photo!!

Well thats all for today...thanks so much for popping by....enjoy the rest of your mothers day and happy scrappin till next time.....xx

Scrap the Boys, KIU and Stuck?!

Hi all, wow what a week I have had!!! I have had my littlest one very sick with some virus that he is just not shaking even on antibiotics, visitors staying at our house for two nights and my sister and her English boyfriend going to live in England for who knows how long :'( So it has been quite a tiring week with not much sleep and being a little on the emotional side.
I have lots of DT commitments I need to complete but I have really needed to catch up on some sleep instead!!
Being the beginning of the month again, I of course have 3 layouts to share for the Creative Team's I am on. But first I just wanted to share a layout I did for the April challenge over at Polly Scrap Kits If you join in you go in the running for a $30 voucher to spend in store and I just found out that I won for this month woohoo!!!!!!! April's challenge was to take inspiration from a lovely picture so here is my layout:

and this was the inspiration photo....

so I took inspiration from the tree by adding a little chippie one and I also included the title in my layout and I tried to stick with the colours as well........I was happy with how this turned out...that's a photo of my beautiful Mum and I!!

Next is the Scrap the Boys challenge example and this month is to scrap about your boy/s getting dirty.....anything from dirt, food, mud, paint, you name it!!!
You are also asked for the photos you use to inspire your layout in someway.
I have used orange and yellow paint to reflect the spaghetti mess on my youngest's face!!!

Next is Kraft It Up and this months challenge is to of course use Kraft patterned paper or cardstock and to ask someone you are close to 'What does Easter Mean to You?'
So I of course, I asked my 6 year old son and his answer was 'Yummy Chocie Eggs'!!!!!

Here is the wonderful sketch for the May the 1st sketch at Stuck?! Sketches

Here is my interpretation of the sketch.....I am so in love with Echo Park's This and That 'Charming' range at the moment, it is one of my all time favourite collections so I try to use it whenever I can!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and for any love you may leave for me, I cherish each and every comment so much so thanks heaps.....take care all and happy scrappin xxx

I adore the vintage boy button from Purple Pumpkin and just had to include it on this layout

Lots to Share.....

Hello again scrappers!!!
Hope everyone is well and you aren't all getting too cold yet?

I have been very busy creating yet again and have a few layouts to share today....

First of all this layout was a 'just because' layout cause I am just so into hexagons like everyone else at the moment. That was until I found over at Frosted Designs that there was a Fabulous Friday challenge to use HEXAGONS!!! Yay and you could use whatever you have in your stash to create a layout!!! Perfect!!!

So here is my layout, I have used a Typo 8 x 8 inch paper pad that I LOVE to create this layout

I am so loving the cute little chevron buttons handmade by Gail from The Greatest View aren't they just to die for....it just makes a layout I reckon, thanks Gail xx

Next up is my CT example for the 15th of April challenge over at Stuck?! Sketches here is the cool sketch

Here is my take on the sketch....a layout of Luke's 1st day of Year 1.....:)

Some detail.......

You could win yourself a nice little $25 voucher if you come and play along....the winner is chosen randomly  so everyone has an equal playing field!!!   Next up is my DT example for the April layout sketch challenge over at Scrapbook Supplies Online
Would love for you to come on over and check out the challenge!!!!

Here is the sketch to take inspiration from....

and here is my layout.....I have used one of my favourite brands at the moment.....Crate Paper :)

So as this post isn't too long I will finish up here and come back again tomorrow to share more with you.
Thank you once again for stopping on by my little blog and seeing what I have been up too.....take care and since tomorrow is ANZAC Day I will end with Lest We Forget.....
