So Awesome - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Hi everyone!
I was lucky enough to receive both the AMAZING brand new Cocoa Vanilla Studio collections at the end of last week and couldn't help but create a layout straight away with the 'Made of Awesome' collection!
**Please note: The brand new collections will be available to purchase from the beginning of June 2015**
So Awesome 1
There are SO many AMAZING embellishments in both the new collections....from tickets, to vellum hearts and stars, enamel dots...the list goes on!! One of the super cute new embellishments in the 'Made of Awesome' collection are those metal camera charms...I just LOVE them!
Of course there are still beautiful papers and a few of the fave embellishments like flair and wood veneers included in the new collections.... everything I have used on this layout is from the 'Made of Awesome' collection except the couple of spots of mist...I challenged myself and used at least one of everything from the collection!
So Awesome 1 Detail 2

So have I teased you enough into wanting the brand new Cocoa Vanilla collections?
Trust me, they are a must have!!
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today!

Happy creating! See you next time!

100 Years of Anzac...

Hi there everyone!

Today I am sharing an ANZAC themed layout with you....

Sadly this will be my last project share as part of the WOW team....its time for me to take a step down from the team....I have had such a wonderful time here on the WOW team for almost 2 years and I want to thank Suzanne and Sandra for asking me to join and all the other DT girls for being so wonderful to work with too!

We visited my home town for Anzac weekend and so I managed to get some great shots of us commemorating 100 Years since the First World War. We raised the flag, went to watch the march, listened to the service and even planted some Poppy Seeds in my parents garden too!

Hippity Hop....

Hi everyone!

Today I am back with you to share a cute Easter themed layout I recently created using some well suited cut files from The Cut Shoppe of course!
Being an Easter themed layout, I wanted to keep a pastel colour scheme throughout...I started by cutting the 12 x 12 Scalloping Circles cut from pale pink cardstock...
I used some of the pretty Elle's Studio 'Cienna' collection to help create this layout...
I cut the 'Tiny Type' alphabet letters from some grey
cardstock to make the title stand out a little better...
How cute is that pink resin bunny? I have had him in my
stash for ages waiting for the perfect layout to add him to!
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today! Have you checked out all the amazing cut files in The Cut Shoppe Etsy store lately? There are sooo many to choose from you won't know where to start!

See you next time....

Good Times...

Hi there!!
HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY!!!!
Today I am sharing a layout I recently created using the super adorable Cocoa Vanilla Studio Flying High collection!
I wanted to show how versatile this collection is by creating more of a masculine layout rather than a cutesy layout for a change.
By selecting a few key pieces from the Flying High collection, I was able to create a layout that documents a memory of my older son riding a motorbike! I have been loving printing my photos into filmstrips lately! I like that they are small and I can layer underneath them!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio Flying High products I used are:
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today! I hope I have inspired you to get out your Cocoa Vanilla goodies and create!
See you next time...

Lovely Friends...

Hi everyone!!
Today I am sharing a layout that I recently created using the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studio Sugar & Spice collection..as I don't have daughters I am always hunting some girly photos! I often scrapbook about my sister and also my close relationship that myself and Mum have...this is one of those layouts!
Lovely Friends
To create my layout, I began by cutting a series of hearts onto white cardstock for my background with my Silhouette Cameo.....I then backed all of the hearts with many of the different Sugar & Spice patterned papers, once happy with the placement of all the papers and my photo I began to embellish my page with the Sugar and Spice embellishments...I used some of the Cork HeartsWood VeneerFlair Buttons and the Accessory Stickers..
Lovely Friends Detail 2Aren't the Sugar & Spice Accessory Stickers just gorgeous?! There are so many cute things to use to embellish a project with!
I used a few different colour pens and drew some faux stitching around each of the hearts for a little bit of an outline.....I also sprinkled a little black mist to break up some of the stark white cardstock!! Lovely Friends Detail
Thank you for joining me on my blog today....have you checked out all the gorgeous products in the Cocoa Vanilla store recently? I promise you won't be disappointed!
See you next time...

Sweetness.....

Hi all!

Today I wanted to share a layout that I created for this month's Scrap The Boys challenge!
I haven't joined in over there in like forever so I decided to give it a crack this month as I really liked the mono tones of their Mood Board challenge...

The beautiful Mood Board to take inspiration from...

This is my layout using the board for inspiration....I have scrapped a photo of my littlest munchkin with a super cheeky grin on his face!

I have used lots of Heidi Swapp products on this layout...I am still trying to use up my stash!! I have added some journalling to the Kraft tag on the right of my layout and tucked it under the papers and embellishments..

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

See you soon..

Brothers...

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share another of the 5 layouts I created for the 2015 Bella Blvd Creative Team Call! I was unsuccessful in making the team but I am super happy with what I created for the call!

When I work with a particular manufacturer I love to mix and match collections to see what works for me and what doesn't work! Here I have used a fairly old Bella Blvd Sunshine and Happiness patterned paper (the yellow/orange spotted one) and some bits and pieces from the Birthday Boy collection but also some things from some of the newer collections Tiny Tots and Hello Autumn!

This photo is one of my very favourite ones of my 2 boys together..I wanted to document how close they are even though they are 5 years apart in age... I typed my journalling on the computer and then cut it up into strips!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!
I hope you are finding time to create?!

See you next time...
