Explore | July 2016 Main and Add-On Kits | Hip Kit Club

Hi everyone!
Today I am back to share a design team layout for Hip Kit Club using the July 2016 Main and Add-On kits! My August kits finally arrived this morning just in time for the weekend!Explore

I love a good sunburst design so I pulled out the Simple Stories Sunshine and Happiness paper and used it for the top half of my layout. I added some of the blue from the blue ombre paper designed by Kim Watson to the middle part and then used the light Kraft from the July 2016 cardstock add-on kit....this way it replicated the sun, water and sand...just like at the beach!  and so I decided to draw the eye in by adding some of the exclusive word and phrase stickers to some of the rays of the sun paper. IMG_1619
My theme for this week is to focus on stickers, I decided to draw the eye in by adding some of the exclusive word and phrase stickers to some of the rays of the sun paper. I thought this was a cool way to use up some of those small little bits and pieces we have laying around in our kits!Explore Detail 3
This photo was the perfect colours to document using these products as the clothes my son is wearing, match the colours in the kit perfectly! I backed the photo with one of the exclusive project life cards from the July 2016 Project Life kit and layered some other pieces of exclusive ephemera also.Explore Detail 2Adding the large embellishments like the Pink Paislee/Paige Evans Fancy Free wood pieces tied everything together across my layout. I am super happy with how this turned out...why not give your next layout a try using the sunburst paper up the top?!
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today!
See you next week! Happy creating!

Happy Birthday To You | Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Hi everyone!
Today I am super duper excited to share my design team layout for Cocoa Vanilla Studio featuring the AMAZING brand new Make A Wish collection! This collection was only just released and is not yet available in stores but it will be very soon!
Happy Birthday To You
l decided to try and replicate the gorgeous cake that appears throughout this beautiful collection by designing my own layered cake and stand cut file in Silhouette Studio....I am offering this cut file to everyone to download for free here if you wish!
Happy Birthday to You Detail
I created this layout for a very good friend of mine and used one of her beautiful daughter's 1st birthday cake smash photos which was obviously a perfect photo to use with this collection! I decided to use a black and white photo because of all the beautiful colours, I didn't want to distract the eye from the beautiful photo!
Happy Birthday to You Detail 3
I machine stitched the 'cake layers' for some added texture and to enhance the separation of each layer! I added embellishments from the chipboard pack, the ephemera pack, the puffy stickers, the accessory stickers and the glitter enamel dots and clustered them throughout my layout.
Happy Birthday to You Detail 2
When I saw those cute wood veneer candles, I just knew they had to be at the top of the cake! Even though gorgeous Grace is 1 in this photo, I wanted to add all 3 candles as it made the cake balance more and so it wouldn't topple over! Happy Birthday to You Detail 4
I hope you enjoyed my first layout created with the brand new Make A Wish collection! Be sure to keep an eye on the retail stores and the Cocoa Vanilla website for when this collection will be shipping! You won't want to miss out!
Happy scrapping!

Bloom & Grow | Just Nick Studio

Hi everyone!
Today I am back to share a new scrapbook layout for Just Nick Studio...its almost Spring (yay!) here in Australia so my layout for Just Nick was inspired by the flowers that are starting to bloom around here! I am not usually a flower lover, but since I have a niece now, I have an excuse to use them and I am actually loving it!
This is the cut file I used on my layout...the floral stripe background....I cut it from a floral patterned paper and adhered it horizontally to mimic the floral design on the background paper!
I added some black lines using a black journaling pen, in between the cut lines to also mimic the design already printed on the background paper...
I added lots of floral embellishments like some wood veneers, ephemera and rubber shapes. I also added a few different phrase stickers to tie the theme all together.
This layout is about my niece who I ADORE! She is the funniest little girl! She is so gorgeous and I just LOVE having a little girl to scrap now!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!
Happy cutting and creating!

You & Me | July 2016 Hip Kits | Hip Kit Club

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing a design team scrapbook layout for Hip Kit Club featuring the gorgeous July 2016 Main and Add-On kits!

I have used one of the new August 2016 cut files cut from one of the exclusive patterned papers designed by Kim Watson for my background..I then backed it with white cardstock.

I really like a rainbow effect with my pages so I went ahead and embellished my layout with colour co-ordinating embellishments including the Hip Kit exclusive ephemera and puffy stickers...I also added some of the cute high five chipboard pieces from the Becky Higgins project life pack!

I also added a few of the gorgeous rubber shapes by Amy Tangerine and some of the gold puffy stickers from Freckled Fawn...behind my photo I used a Heidi Swapp chipboard frame and some of the exclusive Project Life cards too!

Happy scrapping everyone...have a great day!

Travel the World | Memory Maze Designs Chipboard

Hi everyone!

It's Tarrah back with you today to share another layout using some awesome Memory Maze Designs chipboard!

I love creating travel themed layouts so when I saw the camera, the arrows and the words 'world' and 'together' I knew they would be perfect to incorporate into my page!

I inked all the pieces of chipboard in a variety of colours to fit with the colours in my layout, I find inking my chipboard is the best for me as its quick and not too messy! I am such a non messy scrapper!

I used a cut file also on this layout.....this is one of my favourite things to do when I scrapbook...it often helps me with the way I am designing my page!

Here are the sets of Memorymaze chipboard that I have used on this layout!

You & Me | Imaginarium Designs | Guest Designer

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing my 3rd layout as a guest designer for Imaginarium Designs!

This time I created a bright, colourful layout using the Shimelle Starshine collection!

This is my favourite layout I created for Imaginarium Designs! I love how all that colour from the paper piecing looks behind that large 12 x 12 chipboard frame.

I painted the frame in a few coats of white acrylic paint and then finished it off with some white mist over the top for a smooth finish. I also inked the You & Me title in bronze to help make my title stand out!

Together Forever | Imaginarium Designs | Guest Designer

Hi all!

Today I am sharing the 2nd of 3 layouts I created for my guest designer spot over at Imaginarium Designs!

I cut some heart cut files with my Silhouette Cameo and adhered them all down for a different look, as it is a Love themed page, it was so easy to include the 'Forever' chipboard title underneath the 'Together' word.
I also used some of Louise Nelson chipboard hearts inked in pink and layered them over the paper hearts!

Together | July 2016 Hip Kits | Hip Kit Club

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing another one of my design team layouts with you for Hip Kit Club featuring the amazing July 2016 Main and Add-On kits!
For this week, my brief was Tags or Project Life cards so I chose to use tags and made lots of them from the exclusive patterned papers the Fancy Free paper included in the Main kit!
Together
I decided (after shuffling things around for a little while lol) to place the tags under my photo at different levels, this allowed me to then tuck in and add other embellishments like the exclusive ephemera and puffy stickers! I added that gorgeous bright yellow Heidi Swapp chipboard frame around my photo...I like how it brightens up and adds a bit of colour to my black and white photo....
Together Detail
I just love how the Together word title pops even though I left it in its white original colour...I added a few phrase stickers from the exclusive ephemera pack and those cute gold hearts are the Project Life Rub-ons included in the Embellishment kit
Together Detail 2
I also added one of the exclusive flair buttons and the exclusive acrylic shapes to help frame my photo..this photo is of myself on the right with my brother and sister.....they are the best siblings and I love them dearly..they both sadly live in England with their families now so visits are few and far between but thank goodness for video messaging these days!
Together Detail 3
I used my Silhouette Cameo to create and cut the tags......this made it so much quicker and simpler. I really like how they turned out and how they go together on this layout!
Together Detail 4
A few of the Bella Blvd enamel hearts and some sprinkles of the Shimmerz Coloringz 'Don't Citron Me' finishes my layout this week!

Go Explore | Imaginarium Designs | Guest Designer

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing 1 of 3 layouts I have created using some awesome Imaginarium Designs chipboard! A couple of months ago, Nat May asked me to guest design for Imaginarium Designs and she posted me out a whole lot of chipboard!

So I got to work playing with it and created this travel/explore themed layout first...

This layout was perfect to add some Travel themed chipboard pieces by Imaginarium Designs! I especially loved the compass and just had to get that onto a page! I inked the pieces in some different coloured inks before adhering them to my layout.

I cut the really big title 'Go Explore' with my Silhouette Cameo, using some super old Basic grey papers and I also added some embellishments to match!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

Stay Cool | Just Nick Studio

Hi everyone!
Today I am here to share a new design team scrapbook layout for Just Nick Studio using one of the many beautiful new cut files in store now!
I decided to use - The Floral Lace Background from the store and absolutely LOVE how it turned out!
I used the fun Simple Stories Summer Vibes collection to document this super cute photo of my niece when she was about 6 months old! My sister and her family live in England, they visited us last year and they had bought Amelia these sunglasses to protect her eyes from our harsh sun...perfect photo opportunity!
I also used a few bits and pieces left over from my June Hip Kit club kit, like those cute wood veneer sunglasses.......very appropriate for this layout!
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today!
Happy creating!
